SYLK are an Irish electronic duo consisting of taylor (vocals) and bebhinn (producer). Known for their visually energetic live shows & homemade productions SYLK create darkwave electronic pop music. Their story began with the release of ‘Am I Alone’ in 2017 which gained Spotify, Press and Radio attention, with Nialler9 describing the duo as a “cross between Massive Attack & FKA Twigs" but their connection goes back much further than this having met as teenagers while at a lady gaga concert and connecting over their dreams of making music. As teenagers taylor & bebhinn were living in small towns on separate sides of Ireland and it wasn’t until late 2016 that they both moved to Dublin and SYLK began. 

 

Inspired by fashion, art, & the avant-garde the female duo are laced with an underground visual identity and a sound that is distorted, manipulated and lyrically dark.
